The greated invention of mankind - GOd
(Deist / September 23, 2005 - 11:12 am)

Step by step, the fundamentalist Christians and their cohorts are destroying separation of church and state, and it is high time that liberal thinkers stuck up for their rights guaranteed under the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Already atheists cannot get openly elected to public office. How many years will it be before we are required to wear yellow armbands with the letter ""A"" sewn on them?
(Atheist / September 23, 2005 - 09:26 pm)

We need this site in arabic please help as by providing the arabic translation.
(Agnostic / September 21, 2005 - 11:55 am)

The biggest case for Christianity, in my opinion, is also one of the key principles of scientific study. What is that you might ask? Reason. The universe has a purpose. If it had no purpose then why would it exist.

I am a La Veyan Satanist.

I think god is a kind of ?
for me as an ex-religeous i've an shema in my mind the head is ?=truth devided into two ways 1=god 2=no god
but what i belive now is that the human imagination is as big as capable to create god and all other religions.
(??? / September 19, 2005 - 08:10 pm)

I was raised Christian, and I could feel what I attributed to God at the time, but I feel like it's all a mass psychological experience.
(Agnostic / September 17, 2005 - 07:09 am)

This website is very misguided.
(Catholic / September 14, 2005 - 7:14 pm)

I am a Theology Student at an American College. This site is wonderful... seriously! I love to read different points of view. Given, I do not agree, but it was great enlightenment. Also, it is odd how many people refer to characteristics of God-outlined in the Original Texts of the Bible-in their comments (i.e. light, good news, truth of X, etc.). It would be nice to see a site on atheism that had sources, not one man's ideas. Overall, good job on reaching out with your ideals! I'm being serious. I respect people like you for standing up for what you believe. Christians would be viewed different if they actually stood up for what they believed in!!!
(Protestant / September 21, 2005 - 10:36 pm)

I am an agnostic only because to be atheist - I have to admit there is a god to be able to deny him/her. I'd rather choose to be undecided than to be a hypocrite.
(September 11, 2005 - 10:08pm)

some people hate me for being atheist but i say go F*** yourself
(September 4, 2005 - 07:19 pm)

I don't need any religions that someone initiated. I want to know why there are so many people, particularly poors who believe in or pretend to believe in religions.
(Atheist / September 3, 2005 - 04:25 am)

Entered 6 to 10 as age, don't really remember before that. Although I most certainly wasn't religious at age 0 to 5 according to my parents. Parents deist and atheist/agnostic, almost never talked about religious matters when I was young.
(Atheist / August 26, 2005 - 05:35 am)

Everyone will someday know that God is who He says.....
(Christian / August 24, 2005 - 05:50 am)

Religion is a scam.
I arrived at your website after reading the following brilliant segment on wikipedia about Sigmund Freuds views on religion: "Freud's view of the idea of God as being a version of the father image and his thesis that religious belief is at bottom infantile and neurotic do not depend upon the speculative accounts of prehistory and biblical history with which Freud dressed up his version of the origin and nature of religion. Authoritarian religion, according to Freud, is dysfunctional and alienates man from himself."

I believe in energy. When you break everything down it ends as energy. When you die you are dissapated back into the energy and become reformed an infinate number of times into everything, and if the right bits get together at some point you'll have some sort of awareness, of "life" again.
(August 13, 2005 - 02:23 am)

This is an intersting and helpful website.
(Agnostic / August 10, 2005 - 10:58 am)

I'm an algerian and i believe that god is god no one know how is it.
but don't tell lies about it if you do not know anything?
(Muslim / August 8, 2005 - 07:59 pm)

There simply is no god.
(August 1st, 2005 - 08:30 pm)

Who need god if you should solve all your problem by yourself.
(August 1st, 2005 - 01:52 pm)

I am quite pleased by your site. Congratulations.
(July 24, 2005 - 07:57 pm)

Two of my favorite quotes:
"God says do what you wish, but make the wrong choice and you will be tortured for eternity in hell. That sir, is not free will. It would be akin to a man telling his girlfriend, do what you wish, but if you choose to leave me, I will track you down and blow your brains out. When a man says this we call him a psychopath and cry out for his imprisonment and execution. When God says the same we call him 'loving' and build churches in his honor."
- William C. Easttom II

"I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours."
- Stephen Roberts

PS: still loving the site.
(The Inventist / July 24, 2005 - 07h32 pm)

Of course you cannot disprove a universal negative, anymore than you can disprove mother goose or the easter bunny. Yet, to believe in something that has no evidence is to be incredibly naive and/or a distortion in one's rational thought in such matters. To believe in the Bible is to not have read the Bible thoroughly.
On another note, I enjoy the site.
(The Inventist / July 24, 2005 - 07h23 pm)

I come from a catholic family, but I am not catholic anymore, and I do not belong to any christian church, I cannot stand this idea at all.
(July 22, 2005 - 04:08am)

knowing the powers that I have, I
doubt the Creator of the universe gives me much thought.
(July 13, 2005 - 04:58 am)

IT's A GOOD WEB SITE
(Catholic / July 12, 2005 - 03:37 pm)

It's pretty surprising for me that when confronted with mountains of evidence, people still think there's an omnipresent higher power to save us from our mistakes.
(July 8, 2005 - 08:42)

Delighted to have stumbled upon your site. Now when are you due to get your 2 hours of telly on France 3 on a Sunday morning?
(Newrone / July 7, 2005 - 08:52 pm)

In poland atheism is presicuting by goverment
(July 6, 2005 - 01:14 pm)

Cool site for dumb religious quotes. My high school made us pray at assembly - and it wasn't even a government school. Society is stupid. You should make a list of things that are bullshit, just like I have. Acupuncture and related therapies are Bullshit -qi energy my arse! Ghosts, spirits, Gods, clairvoyants, psychics, Feng Shui (positive energy my arse), afterlife, most of chinese medicine, reflexology (how the hell does massaging the toes clear your bloody sinuses? what bullshit), alens, ufo's, little green men, sixth senses, fortune telling, tarot, star signs, iridology (diagnosing health by iris markings -B.S.), specific diets for specific blood types, premonitions (Joan of Arc was either Schizo or a fake). These are most of what I have so far. I'll have to look into naturopathy as well (it incorporates iridology). You should make a skeptic link.
