I don't see any way God can exist. Him being so "great" and "almighty" just leads to paradoxes...

I was an atheist until I found out for myself that it is reasonable to believe in God. I wonder what you will believe 20 or 30 years down the road... ;-)

My mother: random mixture of New Age mysticism, Gnostic Christianity, and Buddhism. My father: don't know. I shared my mother's beliefs until my disdain of the Abrahamic religions led to examine my own. While I think there is much beauty, and greater sence of balance in the beliefs I grew up with, there is nothing other than anecdotes and wishful thinking to back it up.

I really liked your site. my only concern is that often times in reference to gender, you used the male term of "them" and "him", instead of the gender neutral term of "them" and "they". it would make communication easier useing terms that are gender neutral.

If you "Atheist" knew what you were talking about you would know God is a Canaanite word, the Lord’s name is really "Yahweh". You must do better research. Science only supports the Bible, learn to read between the lines.

You can neither prove nor disprove whether God exist or not, therefore you and every other pompous idiot who claims to be an atheist is ignorant. I am willing to bet the creators of this site never read St. Thomas Aquinas, or studied the bible literally,(most bibles are mistranslated) for example Noah's flood was not world wide. Look up Christian Identity, keep an open mind and let Yahweh guide you.

How can we allow ourselves to continue with rasism and hate when there is only one human race, our divided race is weak, as one we are stronger not just of the mind but of the body. The balance of one is better than the imbalance of many.

This message is for everyone believers and non- What I dont understand is that with this right to say whats on your mind people think that they also have the right to bring down others. Thats great you do or don't believe but dont bash the people that aren't like you. Big deal they go around condemning everyone who is different, stand up and be the bigger person, you dont have to also. No one is right until it can be PROVEN so stop jumping to conclusions (this goes for both sides of the argument).. I'm glad that people have the courage to stand up and say "I believe that..." but is it really worth all the controversy it creates? Are things better left unsaid? One final thought: "over-rated" thats all this and every other religion is.

I have never had the chance to not believe in God and really don't see any reason not to believe in him. He has given me happiness beyond anything I have recieved from this cruel world. I came here looking for what others think about my religion and I find it interesting... I know my God is invisible to the human eye but I believe maybe this is because he wants us to make a choice rather than playing follow the leader. If he were here to see and everyone knew he created the world people would only follow him because they want something for themselves. He wants us to follow him because we love him.

I believe that all religions are coming from the ONE and the only ONE. It's been known differently due to that those who had been enlightened came down to the Earth in differently places. They look different due to the culture of where they chose to be at the time. However, all of them act the same (ie love endlessly), taught Earth people the same thing, ect...
We Earth people are up for ourselves too much. We're too proud of ourselves for what that non of us know the truth why we should behave that way therefore we forget who we truely are. We indulged ourselves ways too much that led us to a different path away from the Almighty God. Consequencely we suffer! and yet we blaim God for treating us like that. We keep blaim others that we again forget to look at ourselves first. See who we are? what we do ? why we're here ? where are coming from ? where will you be going after death? are you really sure where you are from and where you'll go or just believe it because others (ie Jesus, Buddha, Mohammed, ect) said so ? why you are born to this family and not the other ? why you are rich while others are poor ? why you are healthy and others are sick ? why there are so much differences in this world ? what is the truth ? how can you find it ? where can you find it ? Yet is there the truth to look for ?
There are so many things in this world and this universe that not many of us who really know the real truth. I sincerely wishing all the best for those who is/are and has/have been looking for the answers to those questions.
